Fixing ps3 controller.
I have a 3rd party ps3 controller. Rumble wire got disconnected but that's not the problem. My square button keeps showing that it's being pressed when its not. I opened it up but couldn't find anything that could be wrong with it. Anyone know how to fix it? I couldn't find it on yt since it's third party.

I will only offer a simplest thing because my mouse had a problem.
Have you checked the plug?
I cleaned my mouse out and it still kept dragging the cursor to different area on screen.
I unplugged it and blew gently on the usb end and plugged it back in and it works fine again.

It's a really simple thing but just a thing to check off the list.

If the button is being pressed when it's not, there's something triggering the board on that part of it. Take the controller apart and make sure that there's nothing lodged in where the X button would be. Dirt or corrosion or something.
