Not wise to put an entire group and slap a label on it. I'm ND as well. We just function differently, and tend to tell the truth to a fault. NT people can usually see the social order better then we can. They will do things I won't understand emotionally but can understand intelligently after learning it.

Even then I get lost. But yeah, they tend to be more selfish for protective reasons (Not saying this is a bad thing protect your boundaries) but can be also used for poor actions/behavior

they've never had to rely on others, and see themselves doing so, and if they do they think 'that's a one off' and ignore it, and think that lying is a form of self-reliance.

they don't really lie very much, or nobody cares enough to question their obvious lies, so they don't know what lies are or how they work.

everything else they don't know compounds these two fundamental ignorances.

I think it's best to judge individuals as individuals. For example, psychopaths are ND and can be extremely one or the other- it depends on an individual's nurture/nature
