Do you remember that tweet where Pokémon admitted that Porygon did nothing wrong?
It happened exactly on 19/9/2020, 4 years ago...

Unfortunately the tweet was taken down the next day becuase it went viral on Japan and some ppl did not take it very well (as well as some users outside of Japan too...)

Poor Porygon, to this day he still does not appear in the anime, as well as the move Earthquake which is banned from the anime too becuase in Japan there is a lot of earthquakes 🤷‍♀️

ron, who runs the country from sony, identifies as porygon. specifically because it induces epilepsy.

you know epilepsy is a bot-caused genetic illness, right? if they don't continually update the firnware to respond to new kinds of media the illness would disappear.

he's the one who suggested the tweet.

I haven't really played any of the games since gen 3, although I have considered it. I didn't realize Porygon no longer shows up. Is there an actual reason?

sony's corporate head. telecommutes from the room.

if you ever saw the NHK tour of the southern kyushu sake plant where we used to live, the english one, they kept ron's audio for the tourist. he uses a chappie-esque robot body with a human-sounding speak and spell voice, and always sounds 'mildly excited' for no reason.

ron is ron's faut. blaming the people that trigger him is a part of how he's managed to maintain his influence for so long, instead of dying like timmy.

Porygon didn't cause the screen go flashing giving people seizures. Pikachu did.

"my avatar can't be the one causing this"

that's also the revised version without 3d spectrography encoded into it in the form of red and blue lines.

ie "if pikachu attacks me reality will fall apart. i'm just a helples fat sack of ♥♥♥♥."

But this has nothing to do with the games... Is the anime where he just... disappeared...

In the games he still appears, I was surprised Pokémon did not forget him in gen 9, actually, there is no game where he has not appeared as far as I know 🤔

VGC players still use Porygon2 for example to this day becuase he very bulky + eviolite...

What about Tangela? That's a Pokemon no one ever talks about as well.

Tangela and Tangrowth are not on the current gen, in the last gen they appeared (gen 8) Tangela obviously got forgotten becuase of its evolution but still quite a nice Pokémon with eviolite and good physical defense...

And well, in gen 8 Tangrowth was a very good Pokémon, bulky, knows knock off and giga drain and has Regenerator, oh and can put you to sleep...

If they gave him (and Tangela) Body Press idk I guess it could be better... 🤔

I personally do not miss these 2 for now, too common on stall teams...

dead ai personality loosely based on T.

T managed to engineer a situation where he lives with timmy and also always causes timmy to kill himself.

it's why we only need to deal with the lad's digital footprint and real people left behind in their wake. rather than the actual lads themselves.

As others have noted, it was Pikachu's fault.
