Some say that the best 'handgun' is "GOD'S WORDS" lol
which is basically: "An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth"...
The phrase "an eye for an eye" is meant to refer to the idea that people should be punished in the same way they offended; (Shoot, then get shot back).
Use ONLY in defense against a known dangerous threat (NOT for offense).
For if someone uses one in criminal offense, you should have the lawful right & duty to use one on them in defense ("an eye for an eye").. even if you have to use a Heckler & Koch 9mm, or a knife, or your fist/foot (or crowbar, lol) to clear the dangerous threat and get the job done.
Which life really matters more? The deranged hostile criminal, who is just a dead weight to society?, or yours?

Guns as hobby is dismaying. These are ugly, deadly weapons. They are utilitarian killing machines, they're not for fun. And while I don't have much issue with guns as glamour in movies, all these youtube guys with their gun hobby channels, it just makes me sad.

I do sort of second this. But not really. Funny you mentioned gun youtubers, I'd say those ppl are usually the chillest. They are probably the reason some people know gun safety.

Anything that's not automatic is already not in the top 10. Aside maybe Revolvers.

I'd say that a automatic pistol isn't that useful since they have small magazines, and if you want more bullets you'd have to trade off the caliber making the bullet slower.

I'd say revolvers are great, but afaik there isn't many that you can put a laser and iron sights are a bit difficult.

That's not necessarily true, 18 bullets on average isn't that bad and you got some handguns with extended magazines that can have up to 30 bullets, not counting micro-SMG and the like.

9mm is a peashooter compared to the stopping power of a deagle .50 AE. Since .50 AE is the most powerful handgun in the world it would stop cocaine bear in their tracks With one shot.

PM is simple and reliable. Machine pistols jam. If I wanted more power, I'd get something bigger than a pistol entirely.

PM is simple and reliable. Machine pistols jam. If I wanted more power, I'd get something bigger than a pistol entirely.

But Makarovs are known to jam on their own pretty badly already lol.
