The best of British food
Chip salad kebab
Pita bread, filled with chips and salad and sometimes cheese that melts on the chips.
Origin : Turkish families who came to Britain and discovered they could do the chippy and kebabs in same take away!

Chips and Battered Sausage
I know I am meant to say Fish and chips and I like fish and chips but I find Battered sausages way nicer than the fish.
Origin : nobody knows...

Pasta and Mince
Normal pasta just boil it up from the packet in a pan.
In another pan cook mince.
Add peas, mushrooms, onions whatever else.
Let it cook then mix with pasta in very big pan.
Add Cheese at the end when plating up.
Origin : Italy originally and then I didn't bother with any sauces and added more of what I liked instead.

You got a fave British food?

The humble Cornish pasty.

Shortcrust pastry case enclosing finely chopped beef, swede, potato, and onion. Or other ingredients. Shaped into a 'D', crimped along one edge, glazed with egg and baked until golden brown.

Tasty. But the best part is, you can wind up half the planet by referring to it as an empanada.

Fish & Chips and Shepard's Pie are decent enough.

The rest of your food makes me raise an eyebrow.

At one point in my culinary career I sous-chef'd for about ~3 years under a British national chef who had opened a restaurant in a nearby populace. His food was really, really good but the Britain specific food he had on the menu didn't sell well other than the two I mentioned above.

The only negative thing I'll say is that The Full English Breakfast is the only plate of food I've ever seen that reminds me of the de-saturated 7th generation of gaming consoles. How you have so many different kinds of bland colors on a plate like that? It's almost magical how uninspiring it looks.

Excuse me, I may let loose my endless frustration of America publicly and regularly but that is no excuse for you to insult the English Breakfast by calling it bland.

Bland "colors" ?
Fried Egg = White and orange.
Toast = brown and different shades of brown with yellow for margarine or butter.
Baked Beans (if optioned) = Orange
Tinned or fried tomatoes = Red.
Black Pudding (if optioned) = black and multi colours of a darkened nature like grey and a shade of brown and purpley sort of when you cook it a certain way.

Mushrooms = white or grey or black pending cooking time.

Onions = white or black or mixed depending cooking time.

Bacon = pink, different shade of pink, pink and multi coloured of various black and brown bits depending cooking time.

Sausages = light brown all the way to black depending cooking time.

Tea or Coffee = black or shades of brown.

Jam for the toast = assortment of colours depending jam type.

Orange Juice = Yellow, especially if you complain a lot for some reason.

It's all varying shades of brown, grey and yellow. Which is defacto every FPS shooter on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Ya'll got that fish and chips thing though. We even use the term chips here where I live when we put it on the menu. Sounds better than "fried fish and fries" Haha.
