The best of British food
Chip salad kebab
Pita bread, filled with chips and salad and sometimes cheese that melts on the chips.
Origin : Turkish families who came to Britain and discovered they could do the chippy and kebabs in same take away!

Chips and Battered Sausage
I know I am meant to say Fish and chips and I like fish and chips but I find Battered sausages way nicer than the fish.
Origin : nobody knows...

Pasta and Mince
Normal pasta just boil it up from the packet in a pan.
In another pan cook mince.
Add peas, mushrooms, onions whatever else.
Let it cook then mix with pasta in very big pan.
Add Cheese at the end when plating up.
Origin : Italy originally and then I didn't bother with any sauces and added more of what I liked instead.

You got a fave British food?

They are pure filth, you get fat just by looking at them.

It was interesting and I remember enjoying it but it's that long ago I can't remember why :steamfacepalm:

Just checked and it has fruit and a couple of types of sugar, so.

I'm glad I don't live in Britain. The food all sounds really mediocre.

I love living in the land of pizza, burgers, and ice cream. I may die early but at least I'll die clutching a pepperoni pizza.

That is a sad indictment of your existence in the food world and you call our food mediocre? :steamhappy:

Pita bread
deep fried sausage
peas and mushrooms mixed with mince

I acknowledge that it is edible. But I don't want to eat it. I'd rather have a pizza.

The Swiss Guard portion of Vatican City? That's something to be proud of?

It's all made with tradition taste and love in mind :-)

You come here to the UK and the birds will do anything you wish if plied with Fish & Chips with mushy peas and a can of Tizer :steamhappy:

I have too much frozen chicken in the freeze. Went out looking for tikka masala sauce, but they only had butter chicken sauce. It's better than nothing, and unlike tikka masala, it's not a purely UK invention.

I thought I would post this so I didn't need to type it.

'Butter chicken, traditionally known as murgh makhani, is an Indian dish originating in Delhi. It is a type of curry made from chicken with a spiced tomato and butter sauce. Its sauce is known for its rich texture. It is similar to chicken tikka masala, which uses a tomato paste'
The beauty of their women and the taste of their food made brits one the best sailors in the world.
