Which Do You Think Is Better? Doom 1 + 2 or Halo MCC?
As said in the title.

Doom 1 and 2 have a lot of fun mods.

I'm talking about classic Doom of course. I said Doom 2, not Eternal.
I would get Halo MCC. You get Halo 1, 2, 3, ODST, Reach, and 4

6 Campaigns for $10 on sale.

i would always go for the originals but that stated i have always considered the golden age of computer gaming to be between 90's-00's, meaning the Original doom games and some of the Halo games are within that era. Unfortunately for those Halo games this is about MCC which is outside that era.

Doom 1 and 2.

I would pick Halo.
Doom seems way too outdated to me.
Get Doom, pair it with a source port and you got yourself a long term amount of fun.

Halo. Doom is trash. Sorry, not sorry.

I like the halo MCC well enough but its quality overall is suspect. Though it has an unrivaled amount of content.
Doom + Doom II are higher quality .

Doom + Doom II is contender for game with most content of all time. Custom doom wads and mods and wads for the mods and ports and it goes on...

I doubt many players have beaten them without dying on the highest difficulty levels.
I noticed that in Doom, at the highest difficulty levels, the adversaries will re-spawn during play.
In Halo they become more difficult by absorbing and dealing more damage.
I am not sure which one is more difficult. They're both relatively difficult games at the highest difficulty levels.

Doom is more difficult by far. The main problem is lack of ammo, because monsters respawn and lack of health/armor pickups because... monsters respawn. Halo has regenerating health and often you can pick up enemies weapons so you don't have that kind of restriction.

If you're going to compare anything to Doom 1 + 2 it should be Marathon. Not Halo.

They were both released close to each other. Marathon was Apple's answer to Doom, but it ended up being so much more than that. There would be no Halo if it wasn't for Marathon and Halo very frequently references Marathon.
