Do You Wear Pajamas Out In Public?
This has become a common thing in our modern era, at least where I live. But growing up, people did not drop by gas stations wearing their PJs out in public. I myself feel weird at the thought of it. As such, you will not catch me wearing my Mario & Bowser PJs outside.

I know the title is asking if YOU do this, but what I really want to know is if it's common where you live? Or is this a thing where I live?

One time I wore sweat pants to Wal-Mart. Too lazy to change. Does that count?

Yes, I have. Not often.

If I'm going somewhere for five minutes I'm not putting in the effort

At worst I only wear the same clothes too many days in a row and get dirty looks in the grocery checkout line for stank.

Wearing pajamas out in public is the gateway to Furrydom.

Was artificially seeded and encouraged by them pushing a "pajama day" at school.

I haven't done that since middle school, pyjama day. Which was quite fun and comfortable, but they still didn't allow only pj boxers to wear. It was like April 6th each year and used for charity/awareness of foster care, etc.
I know some wear their PJs in public, BUT their "PJs" are actually their clothes(shirt, jeans, undies & socks) from the previous day.. they'll sleep in their daily clothing, they don't change for the night or next day.

I don't wear pajamas at all.
I do have a selection of outfits I wear to bed but they're not really outfits and they definitely aren't pajamas. Lol.

They're just jeans and a t-shirt, whatever isn't my work clothes, and whatever isn't the clothes I was in for anything else after work, that is, if I go anywhere after work.

If it's too early for me to be functional and my mum or nan needs something from the corner shop you will absolutely see me in Hello Kitty pj bottoms with a Joy Division tee, bunny slips and pigtails. Watch me as I don't give a ♥♥♥♥.

No.
I did that back when I was a dumb college kid but now the furthest I'd go in my PJs is the mailbox or something. I find it kind of distasteful now.

lingerie would be unusual. Even for my area.

Unusual but most welcome. It would be like Rocky Horror Picture Show is in town.

I don't do it myself but I don't mind seeing people in supermarkets wearing pyjamas or onesies. It's just fabric like any other garment.

…Any time that I have to go farther than just down the street I get dressed in proper street clothes. Otherwise, yes sweatpants and a t-shirt that maybe got worn two or three days in a row is totally okay. Hell I'll even go out barefoot because I'm just used to doing that.

I was never that kind of college or high school student, no. Dressing for the day can be a bit of a chore if having an off day but it's worth it to take responsibility for my appearance.
