Now if some used their fantasy to write actual good fiction books or such, at least some of that talent would be used in a good way.
If "they" built the internet and filled it with bots to drown out people... then what was the point of building the internet in the first place?
As I understand it, the internet was built for communications, and then co-opted by corporations who monetized it. It exists to manipulate you, not replace or silence you. "They" want your money, and your votes.
Bots and AI are real, but they don't have any money.
Well bots have been a thing for a while, kinda like deep fakes is old tech. The key difference being due AI, bots are now easier to mass produce for different purposes, also the many corporate algorithms do try to enforce the status quo and if possible keep or remove topics from the overton window
makes it even more creepy! O_O"
This goes for game lobbies. forums and web searching.
I like steam forum so much because it reminds me of the old days a bit.
