The Matrix 4 was a meme so nobody would watch it

Was a recent thread about the matrix 5 being announced with new directors? Where a theory that hasn't been debunked, about why matrix 4 was bad was mentioned. The movie was a meme about how great the original story was and simultaneously making fun of WB and how they harassed the Wachowski's to make a sequel for years, until they were given one last chance. Make Matrix 4 or some other director does. So they did.

A director and story teller that good, they don't make a bad movie on purpose. Considering how much thought (6 years) went into the original script and the story. A script so deep that it geeked out philosophers even to this day[www.imdb.com].
