But, really, I agree with you. The game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if the current team remains unchanged.
He means because Andromeda was in the teaser for ME5. :D
Whether it fails or it succeeds the ME that we had before is dead. The Bioware that we knew is dead. EA wants dumb down games. The Identity focus BS was just a dust cloud to cover up the worse sin. A courtship of mediocrity for profit. A Vapid and soulless painting made only for its economic appreciation rather than its artistic expression.
EA doesn't care about RPG stories, EA cares about money. Its more important to create a sexy horned person than a good story. A game built around visual aesthetics that can appeal to a certain class of Western citizen that doesn't want to think beyond sex and sexual appeal. That is ok, I don't think that is a bad thing.
Comic book movies are for the less sophisticated. Fart jokes and crass humor is rated R to some people. To others the complexities and nuances of life, morality, and those ideals that underpin our reality are considered adult or mature material. In the eyes of economists the sophisticated and the simplistic are equal in value. If you can pay for it, a capitalistic society will cater to it.
There is only a problem when the mundane tries and mask itself as the complex or their actions as benevolent. There is a paternalism and bigotry rising in media, where inclusion means those who society have deemed socially acceptable are considered worthy of insertion.
The economic elite, who are a minority, are using discrimination to manufacture consent. A technical society in late stage capitalism will not be able to differentiate the gradients between free speech and censorship. Economic elites will demand adherence to what they deem acceptable to deter dissent in media and fiction, to control the masses.
Billionaires will be shown as the good guys through out fiction though in real life they make their money on the debt of the poor. Bankers will be depicted as peaceful civil servants even when they fund poverty, homelessness, and strife. And those that once enjoyed fiction and fantasy where heroes rise to the occasion to combat the ills and enemies of society will be erased for those that take on whimsical negative feelings that appear out of nowhere for no reason. The causes of why evil rises will never be examined all that matters is constant self-glorification and lust for the exotical and the unusually. The fetishization of those that are different will replace meaningful empathy and compassion for others. How to have sex with a thing will matter more than respect for another life or true curiosity around a different out look that doesn't resemble your own.
A false tolerance will be created around agreement, because compliance is the only lesson the powerful want the weak to learn.
Technocrats and the rich have to criminalize normalcy, how else will you enforce the ideas that debt is good, poverty is happiness, hunger is healthy. Nothing is negative as long as you have friends that say happy, happy, joy, joy things to you. The Western world wants you to strive to become a Benetton ad as long as you can ignore how much it cost to wear the facade, and that you are all the same shape and size to fit the cutout.
This is the new Bioware and this is what all of media has become, don't examine or think, just pay and play. And if anybody says anything different cut off their funding and their microphones. The bigots are making the jobs of the politicians and economic elites easier not harder, they are just to ignorant to notice it.

I think I already wrote my dream ME5 plot earlier in this thread. So I’ll just say: my favorite ME game ever. :)
Even ME3 ad some weird stuff, I kind of hope they will not make ME5 at this point, there is really only so much abuse the corpse can take. If this one's good, I could sure be more positive, but do doubt that at this point as well :P
