i think it's simply that "modern" people are too depressed
personally i do not like relationships because they feel like i am locked with only one person
People are always saying, “I want to have a relationship”, “I want to have friends”, “I want to have a girlfriend / boyfriend / spouse.”
If everybody is looking to have something, then there have to people that can offer it. But where are these people? How often do you see someone saying the opposite, saying they want to be the friend, they want to be someone else’s partner?
And people will probably say, “I tried to do that, but the other person / people didn’t care about me. They did put their effort into the relationship. People suck, so I gave up.” Well guess what everybody else is saying? The exact same thing as you. They also had bad experiences, they also gave up trying because of it. When they’re saying “people suck”, they’re talking about you, too.
It's better to stay single as a man to avoid this toxicity
