To anyone playing Minecraft
Is there an easy way to find ancient cities without cheats or websites? I've been digging and exploring dripstone caves for weeks but I don't see even a single sculk block

Maybe you're on a server that switched off ancient cities.

I play in single-player, all by myself. Generated structures are turned on.

My home area is in a Taiga biome

Oh. Well if there is a config file, where such a setting might exist, check it. Might save trouble. I wouldn't know, I haven't played Minecraft since before they had this feature. I do know it's very configurable though.

They are located between two mountains if I remember correctly

They're usually generated underneath mountain peak biomes, IIRC.

They're usually really deep underground. Find a cave, get lost, profit.

I wasn't interested in minecraft when I was being offered keys for literally like 1 scrap metal on TF2 and I'm even less interested since microshaft bought it out... I'd question playing it even if they'd bundled it in with windows 11.

It's worth it. As long as you use Prism Launcher or MultiMC.

The monetized bedrock crap and "realms" server rental are ♥♥♥♥.

Getting Apotheosis and The Aether to run together took some work, but it's the most fun I've had in quite a while.

I remember when you had to download your own texture packs or it was just garbly goop... like a bad patchwork dwarf fortress.
