Looking for a game that I can play forever.
I'm so bored of everything. I need a new game that I can turn my brain off and just play forever. Games I've been able to enjoy lately: Crusader Kings 3, Norland, Caves of Qud
I get so depressed browsing the steam store. There's so many games that I just can't choose anything. Choice paralysis is real. Send help.

Technically, you can only play MMORPGs forever.

I just recommend you to try Brütal Legend, Bully, GTA: Chinatowns Wars, Shadow Tactics duology, Shadow Gambit, Desperados 3, South Park duology, Ratchet and Clank, Sand Land, Persona 3 and 5, and Portal duology.

Interested in this but I don't think my potato pc could run it for very long, assuming my impatient potato brain can even bother to learn it to begin with.

Thanks for the suggestions. Only mmo I've been able to play for any length of time these days is Star Wars the Old Republic. They bore me so much these days.
Borderlands series. You have to play through 3 times to get to the top level where you can use all your abilities. There are multiple characters you can play as. Each a little different. And each character can be played differently. The game is 99% just mindless killing enemies but you have 1000 different ways to kill them.

Blue Spheres on Sega Genesis.

You will never complete it, your kids will never complete it, their kids will never complete it, its the longest game ever made.

Something you can play forever. Maybe a 4X game or even X4. Or X3.

Euro Truck Simulator 2.

It'll play on just about any hardware made in the past 20 years.

A lot of the fun comes from learning all the mechanics, trying new things, failing and starting again. It's an amazing experience.

You can play any game forever, there's at least infinite-near depth to every game, beside that, almost any online game, Fallout series, Elder Scrolls series.

Browsing steam is the wrong way to do it, what you wanna do is look up the best rated games for each year, in the genres you want to play.
