why do snack companies scam us?

you wana try something new or just treat yourself with something and you're left disappointed and infuriated


i tried a new cookie roll by a japanse brand, the chocolate was terrible, it wasnt chocolately at all

theres also a dinner roll, again, no chocolate

the same cookie roll with taro, also weak in flavor

a bag of chips or cookies? 5 pieces and mostly air

any super sized product but you're getting far less, for example, the package shows how big it is but its actually small

a tiny bit of cheese

5 little toppings for like a candy bar or some other treat

blind chocolates with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage fillings

They usually don't. The ingredients and weight or volume of the product inside is right there on the package, even if the shape of the packaging makes it look like there's more. Some snacks are cheaper than others and thus should be expected to be of lower quality. You get what you pay for.

If you don't like a certain product then just don't buy it again.

It is interesting to say that sometimes junk like donuts come in handy for people with eating disorders, so the marketing for healthy donuts could be a real thing but now I'm just being silly, but I found these new maple bars I have on occasion from a snack food brand.

they have ruined the taste of certain chips i used to like
now they taste salty or just less flavor which ruined me

My regular go to in the junk foody snacks department :

Jakemans throat and chest soothing menthol lozenges.
You can get honey flavoured ones too.

Lockets, the honey and lemon ones.

Tunes.

the rpices of these are reasonable and if feeling a little flush i buy all three at once and they last about a week.

And sometimes big bag of peanuts or tortilla chips/crisps - these last about 20 minutes.
