The only thing I see them doing now would be balancing- I think it's safe to say that this is the final product, besides number tweaking
wdym? Like artwork and the like? tbh the game looks good enough, but it just doesn't look or feel satisfying to play imo
I can only really see them adding a couple gamemodes other than what I'm seeing in the video
TDM, Bomb, CTP, Payload- but it still just looks... unappetising? I'm seeing very minimal strategy, and just a lot of jumping while holding lmb- there's probably ability synchronisation to learn, but it just doesn't look fun to me
Was it really that bad? Do you like games like LoL or OW? I guess I just feel like Valve would've done more effort into not making a flop game.. right? Like my expectations were much higher, i guess- especially after Alyx
My mind immediately goes to "Really? Not *any* other third title- you make this slop instead?"
But surely you've seen the response to this game? There are a lot of big content creators/pro CS/MOBA players who are saying this game is going to take over, and it probably will. There's a pretty big demand for this kind of thing, and so far nobody has managed to pull it off. OW isn't even close to being a MOBA, and games like Smite are just LoL/DotA with a force third person perspective.
This is essentially CS/TF2 combined with DotA/LoL. Four games, which for the most part are a decade old, and yet are still some of the most popular and most played games.

You mean paid influencers are trying to influence people to play the game? It's no surprise that creators don't want to burn a bridge with Valve, and let's be honest, they're most likely getting paid to promote the game.
You specifically cite pro CS- let that sink in for a second. Of course they'll be on Valve's leash.
So far, from an actual community of players, there hasn't been a single positive thing anyone in this thread has said about the game
