Ukraine only received old junk from western countries that the Russians have already fought and know the capabilities of and how to defeat it. F-16 is very old, updating it only works to a point, you're not going to change the RADAR signature much, so it's still an easy target for SAMs even if it can move a bit faster than older models.

F-16 is very old, updating it only works to a point, you're not going to change the RADAR signature much, so it's still an easy target for SAMs even if it can move a bit faster than older models.

They've held out this long. Even if kyiv capitulates today, no one would hold anything against them.
