Personally, I don't think it's true. I'm convinced that it was Russia that destroyed the first F-16.

It's probably a desperate attempt to hide the truth. I find it hard to believe in such incompetence, but if I'm wrong and it's true then I expect Russia to give the reward they promised for the downing of the F-16s, regardless of the fact that it was the Ukrainians who did it.

They are a country at war. That is to be expected. Even if the US enters the war, there will also be aircraft losses.

First of all, Russia is making progress every day, and faster and faster since Ukraine made the very wise choice (sarcasm) of sending a large part of its elite forces to the Kursk trap.

Russian elite troops amounts to what exactly a bunch of conscripts and prisoners lol. Ruzzia doesn't have enough troops to deal with the Kursk invasion after getting rinsed for the past 2 years it's literally embarrassing. Ruzzia has now replaced France as the worlds military laughing stock for decades to come people will joke about Russian cowardice and incompetence.

Herm, nope. Even if you physically remove the hardware, the rest of the systems will be bleeping to hell and back, more-or-less all the systems is an "integrated system".
And the IFF prevents lock-on AND firing, both, last i've heard. So, HOW ? (and why disabling it if it is the case)

Is like, the missile bonked the plane while flying to its target or ... what ??

It has taken Ukraine, they are happy now being part of Russia.

As little as I know on the F-16 crash, it was during the attack of the drones/missiles.
the Pilot was part of the defence up in the skies and during it it was destroyed.
Ukraine have denied at this stage it was pilot error.

So that leaves two options a mechanical failure ie not maintained properly or a software error.
Or it got damaged / destroyed by a drone.
