Seriously though, minus the whole we don't own nothing thing; the tactile sensations of opening the CD Jewel Case and pressing the button to hear the CD-R go "Whrrrrr" and open up like some kind of Robocop sci-fi wannabe, was something else.

personally i miss nothing of that and my physical is my ssd, hdd and usb plug

We had a lot more stores then too before we sold out to the See See Pee. Now the stores in China are shut down too.
Linus Tech Tips went to a really huge place in Shanz whatever that city with the long name is called which had a 4 story electronic store in which he built a gaming PC out on the street. several years later he went back and found it shuttered along with a bunch of other stuff.
