I'm not a Taylor Swift fan by any stretch of the imagination, but it was pretty clear more than 15 years ago, back when Kanye first embarrassed her, that she's an accomplished musician. Ie. She plays guitar well, she plays piano well, and other instruments I believe. She also writes all of her own material... and there has been a LOT of material. She's not a plastic pop artist despite the transition from country to pop. She has become more like a corporation than a person in recent years though.

She plays Taylor guitars (no relation) too. Which is an amusing fact. That I remember for some reason.
