IDK, but I'm a short guy that's the same way about girls. I've literally only dated girls that were taller me. I can't help it; that's just the ones I have the most natural chemistry with and the feeling seems to be mutual.

There may be, or at least there used to be, a correlation between height and whether or not someone came from a household of means or not. Richer households were able to afford better nutrition. Better nutrition meant taller kids.

I recall reading about WW1, officers often stood out to snipers since they were usually taller, having come from families who could afford to feed them better growing up.

No, I don't think that's it. Generally in the Animal Kingdom, size always equates to greater dominance and biologically, humans probably still retain that sentiment. There's definitely ways to fight taller people, though and short people have advantages, but most don't know how to use them.

Yes, of course. Women always discriminate against short guys, well most of them, anyway. If you're a short guy, you have more to work against and are deemed as less desirable in the eyes of most females. I personally don't care, though. I like who I am and would never want to be any other way. I'm short, but it's never actually hindered me with dating.
