Eh not really, technology is just different nowadays (in some ways for the better in other ways for the worse). Plus mosquitoes don't kill humans as easily like back then :steamlaughcry:

The neanderthals and denisovans were actually much more advanced and better adapted than the so-called sapiens.

It's still hotly debated how they got out-competed. Probably telephone sanitizers.
