Is Volkswagen reliable?
I bought a 2024 Tiguan Comfort R for 0% APR at 5yrs.

I desperately needed a car for work, and this was the only vehicle offering 0%

If reddit is right and euro cars are trash, this will be traded in the 4th year of the loan

376/biweekly 5 years 3500 down $52k CAD total.

If you can afford it then the answer is yes. All modern cars are the same. There are no "good choices" anymore.

Okay except for Beamers. They're always garbage.

Intrusive infotainment data collection and phoning home without consent are a huge problem, and despite the EU being relatively proactive about such things, Volkswagen is a major offender.

The most expensive thing that you can own is a cheap German car.

You are planning on throwing away $30k CAD?

Very reliable.

Their models can travel from Germany to Poland in a single tank.

If you don't give a damn about environment, then yes.

Nice, I test drove a Tiguan not long ago when I was at the dealership for a service. Seriously considered getting it.

Reddit isn't always right about everything. Volkswagen is a quality brand.

I think you got a great vehicle that should last you many years with proper maintenance.:cool_seagull:

vw tiguan is a good car, but Comfort is the medium line of equipment. So don't expect it to age the same way a full option would, this related to resale value.

the engine is solid, the electrical part is good, driving is a bit stiff

Anyone remember those cute Volkswagen beetle cars that were trending in 2005-2010? Good times.
