Games about unchecked capitalism?
Which games warn about the dangers of unchecked capitalism like Cyberpunk 2077?

I love Cyberpunk 2077 and Bioshock, any other game that warn about the dangers of unchecked capitalism?

Fallout
Lots of JRPGs do the "world ruled by an evil corporation" plotline. Typically, they are very clearly western corporations. It's more subtle than overt but it's basically an anti-capitalist warning. Used to be a Square Enix staple.

This game would be perfect for you.

I still can't get over the irony of the outer worlds. Outwardly, clearly hostile attitude to capitalist corporate practice. And yet, they released one of the scummiest money-grab remasters repackages in gaming history...

That looks like an interesting one.

I found this Steam curator as well.
Doesn't warn of the future, but shows mistakes of the past

life is usually as bad as it gets, games usually spiff things up for entertainment purposes.

Honestly I'd have way more fun living in either universe

Sometimes I'm in my yard and I can hear a hunter popping off in the distance.
I'm thinking "raiders"

Fallout

It does parody the subject, although it's more about human nature and how, in the end, we always steer towards conflict, no matter the circumstances.

literally everything if you think hard enough. but to be fair, the real danger is cronyism here... i'm not sure if anyone ever made a game about that.

also, definitely not fallout. it's more about why war happens, not why something causes war.

do people really think fallout is anti capitalist? that kinda misses the point of the whole series.

Maybe Deus Ex Series.
The first game is quite aged though.

Other games I know someone else already mentioned.

weird, i thought it's about how the government wants to take over the world which isn't that far fetched either.
