As opposed to being female versions of existing male heroes. Honestly, that's a pretty smart take, and I'm surprised more people don't see it that way. Especially Hollywood itself. When your own actresses are starting to say the same thing, then perhaps you're losing the plot if you keep making the same mistake.

Ultimately, that's a concern for the writers. A studio approving a project won't mean anything if they can't write a character to meet whatever standards she's suggesting.

I would like to see the story of Miss Moneypenny.

In one of the Daniel Craig movies we see how she ends up in the role she does.

Still would be nice to see an actual drama not thriller but an intelligent film about her character in the years or situation that led her wanting to get into the secret service.

I'll say I don't mind rebranding because the originals still exist. I think it'd just be neat for more original stuff to happen. Because rn everything is just being recycled and played safe to secure a paycheck
