Frieren Episode 10 (Spoilers Up Till End of episode 10)

I finished watching episode 10 of Frieren -If you know what that is- and so I observed that Frieren sure does have prejudiced against Demons.

Are there any "good" Demons in this series?

I really like the show but I also kinda hate the idea of lumping any individual into the mix. I think a lot of stereotypes are either very accurate or very stupid but even in the ones that are very accurate there are some people/creatures that aren't applicable.

I didn't think that dragon needed to be killed for an example. It probably could have been tamed or sent away.

I thought the Aura death was probably the most brutal... I guess it's because she was dealt the very quickly. I'm not sure if it was mercy or merciless to kill her but saying "Kill Yourself" and making her literally end her own life was kinda pretty brutal. I would say it was arguably heartless.

I personally hate this world but I wouldn't end my own life. I would be fine if this world or someone/something ended my fie at some point... I guess... but I personally wouldn't end my life despite how much I dislike other humans the the way this world is.

Even if you didn't click on here to read about me I will boast that I am much different than most humans even though I think and guess that I am a human... probably...

So anyways I was hoping there would be a 'good" demon or one that was different... Even if there isn't in the cannon I can just go on fanfiction later and read if there.

I would totally like to talk about this more with people.

IF there would be a better spot to talk about this just understand I am a loser with no other outlet or knowledge of where to talk to people. I am epicly lonely and crave a stimulating conversation. I also understand nothing of real value seems to ever happen so maybe you'll just post some mean and cruel stuff or - even worse - not get a response at all.

Demons are demons. They are evil. They cannot be good.

If you think they are good, you are falling for their demonic tricks. That kind of thinking is how they are able to infiltrate societies and then kill countless innocents.

The main problem with Demons in the world of "Frieren" is that they don't understand humans. They are devoid of compassion and empathy and mimic them only to take advantage of humans. And they have a very hyper-individualistic and egocentric nature. The main reason why Frieren, Himmel, Eisen and Heiter even managed to vanquish the Demon King is the fact that they don't care enough for their own kind to be consolidated and fight for each other. Demons in most fictional universes have a distinct lack of awareness for common well-being. Had Frieren's party faced a consolidated force of demons, they would have been annihilated.

Basically, if a species cares even less for other members of its own than what we see in humans... you get the picture. Demons don't have a concept of "good" and "evil". Only their personal interests.

Demons are more like a monster than a race in that anime or whatever.

Humans are pretty bad about caring about anything about themselves as well...

...So I'm guessing I don't have any nicer demons to look forward to then.

I still don't think ALL the demons of that world have to be "evil" or whatever.

I feel most humans are exactly as you put it: "devoid of compassion and empathy and mimic them only to take advantage of [other humans and creatures]"... I see a lot of fake humans as well. I often feel I am the only real one out there sometimes.

I don't really care about other humans though. I care on an individual level and that would include all life not just humans...Considering multiple humans die every single second and we don't care about them; We humans kill way more plants and animals as well and think we're such kinda and considerate entities. What about the ant/spider/cockroach you just killed?

I don't like the "of it's own" part. I care just as much about that ant as I do a human or whatever. It's not about the species as much as about the personality and content of their character for me personally.

The humans at the top are most likely the most vile. They take take take and don't really care about who they are screwing over to have their ego inflated.

I wouldn't say ALL humans are bad, I probably wouldn't say ALL Demons are bad... I would definitely say MOST are and that most could even be 99.9999 but if 1 in a milllion or 1 in a billion that could be good that would be enough for me.

Because even if there is one good Demon out of them all I think that would be a nice thing... I mean to sum up the question of if the series contains any good demons at all ever would also suffice but discussion past that simple question is alright as well. Let's say all the Demons are the same and are all evil or whatever I still probably wouldn't hate them, and if I did hate them I would probably forgive them at some point... maybe....

I would say lumping me in with the rest would be equate to saying one of any kind [of species, race, gender, etc] would be unfair... I'm very willing to have a conversation even if I am an emotional person with an ego. Most of the time isn't all of the time, and I am not like everyone else on all levels.

So there MIGHT be a okay, decent, good, nice, kind, sweet, loving, benevolent Demon... Maybe even one that Frieren falls in love with and has babies with!?
