Why do some people on here...
Why do some people on here, appear to seriously believe that their opinions and statements are 100% facts ?

There are some candidates on here, who ALWAYS appear to believe that what they say and think, is 100% reality, a fact, THE ONLY WAY.

Especially when I look at their profile and notice that they are matured adults, I wonder how someone can go through life like this ?

I get that we humans are designed, ideally, to stand up for our opinion and so on, but I mean there is a difference and limit, between wanting to be right and seriously believing everyting you post on here, literally EVERYTHING is nothing but the truth, nothing but a fact and then spend hours or days to talk down others, claiming what they say is all wrong?

I know that this could be a trait of narcissism, but no way so many people on here are real narcissists.

Anyone who noticed this as well or is this just me?

An opinions an opinion doesn’t necessarily make it a fact or gospel truth.

Yet either side expresses them 24/7.

So it’s not an either or thing it’s merely expressing an opinion in a passionate and direct manner.

Yeah, the Teacher's Union hates people speaking too many facts.
Okay 'critical thinker'.
Thank you.
The first error here is to take seriously the Off Topic "discussions".

There is a school teacher who lost his job for teaching "critical thinking" skills to his classroom, it did not follow the Left's doctrine and schools hate that more then anything else.
He lost his job for violating school protocol. But who cares about details when we have emotions and sensational reactions to facts, right?
Really? What protocol?

He was fired for uploading the video without checking with his supervising principle, which was school protocol. This can all be found in under 60 seconds of searching online.

It took me seconds to fact check. Surprised you didn't check it yourself.

You aren't referring to Warren Smith then. Who are you referring to?

‘If you would like to upload anything to social media check with your supervising principle,’” ...This was the reason for my firing.”
It took me a few years, but it finally clicked that I don't have to make someone believe the same thing as me. It's all about how the person responding to me that either makes me respond back or just ignore them.

In the end, some random person on the internet isn't important, even less so when it's on a game focus site, just have fun and don't think about it, that's my recommendation anyway. :P

‘If you would like to upload anything to social media check with your supervising principle,’” ...This was the reason for my firing.”
That was a 1 statement email sent out to ALL staff by the school 1-2 weeks prior to the firing of Smith. He was uploading videos months prior to this time with the school's blessing and was within the parameters of the school's attorneys. The school praised him for his videos prior to the firing. It was an email that was also missed (which is common as email isn't always the best way to communicate important new changes of policy).

The reason given to Smith by the administrator who fired him was "We do not trust you to not divulge information online." Which is absurd considering he had never done so and was in compliance with the school's attorney's rules.

Maybe you don't agree with the reason or think it is unfair but that is not relevant to the facts which he explains in his own words. This is about critical thinking, not emotional outrage, after all, right?

He repeats it here in an interview.

The audio is 1:34:00 long. Is there a time stamp you want me to listen to?

The title of the interview is "Warren Smith Went Viral for Teaching Critical Thinking, So His School Fired Him"

The outline says;
[11:46] Why did Warren get fired?

But actually he blabs on about nothing for about 6 minutes before getting to the actual point (because of critical reasons I guess). So probably listen around 17:50 ish.

Let's be clear, the teacher was fired for teaching his students how to think critically. The spin comes after.
