This is by far the best of all, we will loose 1000 years of tech and enginering by loosing it.
Mostly, people choose them out of ignorance, with no idea what they are doing. A law for "safe labor conditions" is also a law to prevent competition, and inevitably will be. It will also inevitably create a self-growing bureaucracy, evolved to protect its own job, rather than actually serve.
ONLY the US ever figured out a way around it. The Constitution strictly limits the power of the national government, and what power remains is enormously decentralized. That way, people can be stupid, or clever, and move to what works. It's a dynamic, self-repairing system.
Despite the natural efforts of every human on the planet to be opportunistic, the US ALONE rose to such lofty heights, based upon this mechanism, because it leverages it. No empire or nation in the world even comes close to the earth-shaking power of such freedom, when it is united.
I can't think of any nation or empire more beautiful than what the US represents, but we are alone in our splendor and power. No other nation ever bothered copying what actually works, and so we have no competition. That's what created the sad state of the US today. Leftists have taken over almost the entire world, and half of this nation. But they cannot make that final push.
We're the one nation that actually resisted overbearing government control, even if it's only half of us at present, and our strength is such that it still gives the world pause. I wish all peoples, from all nation, could have that kind of power. Imagine where we would be if we weren't bogged down in petty political struggles to limit human capacity and control it. Everyone already lives glimpses of it every day, through miracles of technology and industry they take for granted.
But, to quote Andrew Ryan from "BioShock": "The Parasites say NO!"
America stands out as a unique nation that has managed to break free from oppression, even if just for a time. While I strongly dislike Communism, it does highlight that there will always be oppressors.
Often, people choose these oppressors unknowingly. Laws meant to ensure "safe working conditions" can also limit competition and create unnecessary bureaucracy that prioritizes its own existence over serving the people.
The U.S. has successfully avoided these pitfalls by having a Constitution that limits national government power and decentralizes authority. This allows individuals to choose what works best for them, creating a flexible and self-correcting system.
Despite the challenges, America has achieved remarkable freedom and power, unlike any other nation. This unique structure has made it exceptionally strong, but it also means that many countries haven’t adopted what truly works.
Today, while leftist ideas dominate much of the world and parts of the U.S., America remains a beacon of resistance against heavy government control. I hope that people everywhere can experience this kind of freedom. Imagine the potential if we weren’t caught up in trivial political conflicts that limit our capabilities. Many people already enjoy glimpses of this through technology and industry.
As Andrew Ryan from "BioShock" said, “The Parasites say NO!”
are you surprised?
Stay tuned for more details.
Their tears of pent up frustration cheer me up daily.
