I think that she actually is in favor of femdom, based on her past posts, but I think the point of pointing out the mantis situation was meant to be ironic contradiction in order to demonstrate that there are situations - exceptions really - where even a thing that can be good or that one may personally believe in, is not good.

It also demonstrates what's wrong with "appeal to nature" arguments / points, in that just because something is natural, it doesn't mean that it's necessarily good.

Of course, most creatures are not like the mantis, and it is common for relationships to follow a patriarchal or "alpha male" structure, but this too, while being a common natural thing, is maybe not necessarily a good thing.
