Of course I dislike this kind of nonsense. But its very common in Germany that some authorities treat adult people like little kids. This is why I am leaving the country permanently next year.

Yeah, no. Frankfurt is a sh­ithole, just like Berlin. They're the Detroid/New York of Germany. I haven't heard much about the others, but I'd imagine that Stuttgart, Hamburg and Leipzig are not far off given they are also rather big hotspots. If you want to experience "good" German cities (as good as it can get nowadays, anyway), you should go to small, lesser known southern cities.

If the political and ecomonical situation doesn't get any better anytime soon, I think most people will follow suit in a few years, including me. I've spent roughly 20 years here now, and todays Germany is a far cry from what it was 20 years ago, in every aspect you can imagine... Shame.
