Old game nostalgy.
Sometimes when I play old or very old games, no one really knows much anymore or doesn't touch anymore.

I always think : Man! This was someone's work. Some people sat together in an office, developing this game for years, everyday, they tested the game, they probably had a party when they finished it and perhaps maintained it for a while and so on and on.

But then after two or three decades or more, its basically just a game in some corner, catching dust, or in many cases, just a piece of digital code on someone's memory.

I am just saying. Next time you play an old game, perhaps even something like Skyrim or even old World of Warcraft which is still played. Think about it, someone coded all this, every little piece of gras or green, every irrelevant corner on some map, someone put a lot of time into this, testing it, walking the map himself in testing mode.

And so on and on. You get the drift.

Do you sometimes feel like this and think this deep?
Especially with older games you like ?

I am a passionate gamer and play games since over two decades now. There are games such as the old Operation Flashpoint or even old Rainbow Six games, that feel like I played it yesterday, but its already 20 odd years ago.

It always feels weird when I replay these games today. Almost a bit like travelling in time but also a sad experience, considering it makes me realise how many years have passed.

Yes online call of dutys
SNES SMW is still one of the best, most stable, with more playable content games ever. Old games used to relly a lot on the audiotracks and sound effects too. Top Racer/Gear 2 is amazing because of the music, the gameplay without the music sucks.
