Adult gamers who hide their gaming habit

Gaming is not cool in many adult circles and gamers are shunned for being manchildren. Many games contain psychopathic tropes, adolescent power fantasies, lame jokes, terrible cringe-inducing writing and cultural trash that sophisticated people want nothing to do with, and gaming culture is tragically immature to say the least (not even going into Japanese games here).
Do you hide your gaming vice from your social circle and potential partners in love or business?
