"Privacy policies" and promises that all data collected to "improve the experience" is anonymized are all worse than worthless; Unless proven otherwise with fully open source data.

The open Mycroft project was cancelled, so we'll see how https://github.com/OpenVoiceOS and https://www.home-assistant.io/ go before I ever consider any smart home gadgets and voice assistants.
