People with tattoos: do you regret it?

I'm thinking about getting a blackout sleeve on my right arm. I think they look so cool. But man. What if I regret it? XD
At least with a shirt you can just take it off if you don't like it...

No, I don't regret it.
And I make it a point not to get tattoos in visible places as a personal practice.
If I get ink, it's for myself, not for other people to see.

Only because I was poor when I got mine so they were done by people learning. Tattoos are kind of dumb tbh cause nearly no one cares about the same things or believes the same things for 20+ years. I.e. bands, icons, trends/fads

I have a few tattoos. The fist one my friend did with needle and thread and Indian ink as it is all natural.

Tats are permanent, you got to be sure that the design you are putting on your body is what you want and what you know you'll be happy with.

you shouldn't put the names of some girlfriend or boyfriend you love and then you or they dump you and then you are left with this tattoo you don't want any more, keep it to something you really like and know you'll have no problem with for the rest of your days.

Do i regret my tattoo about my father? absolutely not.

I want to go for sleeves as well, i need to come up with a suitable design though and seek assistance from the tattoo artist about how to go about the design so can be done correctly.

Only with half a block of chocolate. And it was my cell after all.

Yeah. None of mine look horrible. I'm quite alright with them. I've seen some pretty bad ones out there.

But they faded pretty quick despite being under my shirt most of the time, one is facing away from my body (which they say is bad luck for a character) and I have one that the artist talked me out of the colors I wanted because he insisted I needed more contrast. The yellow he used faded away pretty quickly.

I'm probably done with tattoos at this point in my life (new ones) but I always wanted to go to one of those famous high profile ones you used to see on Discovery in the contests and see if there was actually a difference in getting it done.

My tattoo artist used to do about 4 passes.... First the outline, then the coloring, then the shading, then any touchup/finishing touches. By the time he got to step 4, my skin was pretty raw and I've heard that means he overworked my skin, but I don't know any different. I've only had 2 artists.

This is the answer. Tattoos are for you, not someone else. You better be mature enough to know what you want and be happy with it forever.
