Favourite Red Dwarf Episode?
What is your favourite Red Dwarf Episode?
Is it even possible to have a favourite?

I began a new journey watching them yet again starting with ARNY!

"Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back before breakfast!"

Obviously based on me and not Rimmer.
That is a good episode and so is Queeg!

So many great episodes, you got any that really stand out?

"such a crypto fascist!"
"Here have your tooth back!"
"I rolled a ...."
"Everybodys dead Dave"
"And the moral of the story is, 'Appreciate what you've got', because basically I'm fantastic."

The first episode when Lister wakes up and realises he has caused the destruction of the entire human species by having £2.49 in his bank account for the past 20k years.

Yeah but he left the light on and has to pay the electric.
I have a few episodes on a 2 or 3 DVD set I found at a goodwill that I still need to watch.

The guy that passes series in the BBC was reading the script on the train and it was The Cat that made him genuinely laugh out loud and he knew it was going to be a hit.
where he threatens a sadistic hologram with a holowhip.

I liked the toaster saga too, but it's very obvious that was the original pilot script and everything else in the series was just BBC gloss and proceedure getting dumped out of an oil drum.
Back to Reality was always top for me. There's a lot of excellent episodes throughout S1-S6

The Norweb Federation has been tracking him ever since...
LISTER: She could've said, "yes." Stranger things have happened!

RIMMER: Only two spring to mind, Lister: the spontaneous combustion of
the Mayor of Warsaw in 1546 and that incident in 12th century Burgandy
when it rained herring.

LOL
Just watched this scene.

"No Vacuum cleaner should give a human being a double Polaroid".
I need to ask, what did americans think of british sitcoms from the 1980's and 1990's ?

As a brit, I loved watching american sitcoms from the 80's/90's such the fresh prince, saved by the bell, married with children, happy days and many more.
When i saw you for the first time (first time),
my knees began to quiver (quiver),
and i got a funny feeling (feeling),
in my kidneys and my liver (digestive system, baby),
my hands, they started shaking (shaking),
my heart began a-thumping (bo-bo-boom),
my breakfast left my body (heuy-heuy-heuy)
it all really tells me something.

Girl, you make me tongue-tied (tongue-tied),
tongue-tied, whenever you are near me (near me),
tied-tongue (tied-tongue),
tied-tongue (tied tongue),
whenever you're in town.

(oh-wo-bo-bau-oh-wo)

I saw you across the dance floor (dancing),
i thought of birds and bees (reproductive system, baby),
when i tried to speak to you (talk, talk),
my tongue unravelled to my knees (flippity-flippity-flop),
i tried to say i love you (love you),
but it came out kind of wrong, girl (wrong, girl),
it sounded like noo-noodidy-noo (tongue-tied).
A-Nur-nur-nung-e-nung, nurl.

Because you make me tongue-tied (tongue-tied),
tongue-tied, whenever you are near me (near me),
Be-dobbie-durgle, dobbie-durgle (tongue-tied, tongue-tied),
Whenever you're around.

(oh-wo-bo-bau-oh-wo)

oh, i'm begging on my knees,
sweet, sweet, darling listen please,
understand me when i say,
ge-durble-dobble-doggle-durgle-day.

I'm trying to say a nungy-nangy (nungy-nangy)
ningy-nangy,
why can't i tell you clearly (clearly),
Be-dobbie-durgle (dobbie-durgle),
durgle-dobbie (durgle-dobbie),
whenever you're around (around),
Whenever you're around, girl.

nothing, all anybody cared about for decades was frasier. anywhere.

so they made friends, to keep the young generations in place and remind them that even frasier can be replaced by an alliterative near-miss and a constructed cast of friendly faces.

or Friends could have been made by the people who were writing about themselves.
