What is a good horde mode game?

I am at a loss atm because I can't find a game that shoves tons of enemies at me (and friends if there is co-op) while being able to use cover effectively (not just crouch behind something but being able to blind fire like in splinter cell blacklist).

I would prefer an fps but heck even a hack and slash would be good at this point as long as it has co-op.

OH and ragdolling would also be prefered rather than death animations

Payday 1+2
warframe
all the gears of war games (not even sure if they are on pc, didnt bother checking)
left4dead 1+2
ORION: Dino Horde
Orcs Must Die 2
Killing Floor
MW3 Survival mode (one of my favorites as you only protect yourself and partner from tons of enemies using great guns and my favorite, the sentry gun)
and others that seem to have skipped my mind atm

Black Ice.
It's a recent game, but the demo is available, and the game, too. There's even a gameplay video on the store page that show's the CREATOR playing. I'm going to get it....as soon as I can get a better laptop/computer.
Edit: The game says it requires 2GB of RAM, and my laptop only has one.
Yet it still runs smoothly.

OK black ice looks really fun! Procedurally generated, random loot, leveling up what more could i want? That even has co-op! looks like a great buy but im a little iffy on all that neon. It just looks too fake. So I'm going to wait and see what he does with it before i spend any cash. Thanks for the recommendation!

Nation Red is not very fun imo especially because your level resets each time you play.

Black Ice is also very recent. Like Unturned, it's only going to get more badass as time passes.

I own orcs must die 2 and i dont really consider it a horde game because you're defending something. I like the tower defense games but I hate having to always worry about something other than my own or my teammates status.

Oh I loved that game (only got to play it at my buds house though). Its funny as hell and the gore is great but its just a linear level that gives you a room of enemies to kill before advancing and not even that many imo. I got pretty far into the game too aquiring 2 of the three sword parts and I think im getting close to the third but like i said i can only play at my buds house.

Not co-op. good game though.

Bulletstorm, was decent but gets old fast. And ME3, still one of the best horde modes sadly it only has 10(+1) waves per match.

ME3? Mass Effect 3? I have mass effect 2 and the game wasn't that stellar imo it just gets old fast having to crawl through the conversations (although they give some neat options for the story) but the combat sure is fun, too bad it was also few and far between.

I thought killing floor was great at first. Then I kept getting bored around halfway through the matches (probably just needed someone to play with =/) and waiting those 30s between waves actually gets really tedious lol. Not to mention how hard it is to level up past rank 4 on any class but I read up on Killing Floor 2 and that game looks like it solves all my problems with the first game :)
