It probably has to do with the fact that his company produced technology that is 100 years in advanced of anything else and recently SpaceX saved two NASA astronauts.

Seriously Musk is a fraud- there is nothing really "green" about Tesla or electric cars and all "space programs" including NASA are scientific fraud. The energy and resources used to pursue these Star Trek crack-pipe dreams are insane.

False equivalence. People can take care of themselves. But most people agree that they should pay for roads. It's easier when a centralized entity does it to keep the road construction and maintenance somewhat standardized.
