Thank you for Valve & Steam
Games are the big part of my life, although i have less and less time for them nowadays, but I am glad to use Steam.

My path here started at 2007 when I bought TF2. Still have this disk nearby.
I was so hyped about this game. Came back home, installed it and got my ass kicked pretty much, because I didn't know how to play.
But I came back later to give it another shot and had lot of fun.
Playing the same server I've been seing familiar nicknames all the time, who also were recognizing me. We were goofying around, mocking each others, eventually adding each others as steam friends and playing the other games together.

I personally found many new online friends in here, some of them we've managed to meet IRL and it was tons of fun.

Excited to see what is going to be the next chapter of Steam's history

Word is that Valve has been assembling the Avengers[gameranx.com] for a major game release some think might be Half Life related. In the past couple of years they've rehired several former Valve developers, and they've picked up people who worked for Id software, MachineGames, Sucker Punch, Insomniac Games, and Naughty Dog. Valve hires based purely on merit, and it's well known that they only hire the best of the best. Something is brewing over at Valve.
