salted licorice is actually terrible though, salted sweets in general are just a blight against humanity imo >.<

Salt water taffy was actually a byproduct of being made by the sea side and picking up salt air. Artificially adding salt is doubly offensive.

I don't know why my sister always asks me to get her a box of black licorice flavored salt water taffy from the State Fair every year.

I dislike whole/crushed nuts in chocolate. it feels like debris. the texture is not flavour and its just a distraction, i like homogeneity :v

aren't crunch bars just rice crisp? they're different cause they're not solid in the same way nut traces like a snickers or one of those blocks of hazelnut chocolate. they dissolve under the palette and don't interfere with the chewing process. chocolate melts, and so should everything that it accompanies
