Wikipedia or wokepedia?
What do you think? Doesn't it seem like Wikipedia has a heavy left-wing bias and censors facts that offend The Narrative?

Wikipedia is among the least biased websites on the internet (not to say that it's unbiased - which would be impossible) and they try to take a neutral stance on most political topics.

If something is on Wikipedia is too "woke" for you, you probably have a heavy right-wing bias instead of Wikipedia having a left-wing bias.

wikipedia is not about a narrative, it's about providing accurate information to everybody.

Sadly Wikipedia is a very biased website. People have complained about this several times -> https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/11/27/wikipedia-biased-bbc-how-left-took-platform/

You shouldn’t trust wikipedia in any heavy political ideas, since they will always favor left leaning ideas.

Yes but those facts could be fake news

The Telegraph has a pretty well known right-wing bias itself.

I'm starting to wonder if this tendency to see 'woke' in everything will end up in the DSM. 'Hyper-vigilant social commentary disorder'? 'Woke-vision syndrome'?

Symptoms: Rocking back and forth, repeatedly muttering slogans like "Go woke, go broke!" as a form of self-reassurance. Seeing ideological motives behind everything, from a cereal box design to a Wikipedia page. Angrily regurgitating catchphrases and soundbites from outrage-driven influencers and YouTubers on online forums.

I think it tries to be unbiased, but the biggest "problem" with the site is rooted in the same reason it exists at all : it is "maintained by a community of volunteers, through open collaboration"
thus giving room for all kinds of opinions, constant back and forth editing which results in articles that may or may not be biased depending on who made the last edit.

i heard that wikipedia is about verifiability, not truth.

this came up when i read the talk page of argentina's current party, of how they're the supposed "far right" when in reality the statements were outsourced by reliable sources, including left leaning news outlets, rather than editors' original source. the party is only far right in economic status. they're more accurately libertarian/minarchist so they're not "far right" in definition.

I'm starting to wonder if this tendency to "wokeify" everything will end up in the DSM. "Hyper-vigilant wokeification disorder"? "Woke-ifying syndrome?"

Symptoms: Pushing leftist agendas into everything, repeatedly muttering buzzwords like "Racist" or "Bigot" as a form of belittling others for their opposing politiccal views. Forcing ideological motives into everything, from video games to TV shows. Angrily regurgitating catchphrases and soundbites from wokeness-driven influencers and YouTubers on online forums.
Everything is woke now. This forum is woke.

Helicopter is better than left and right wing aerospace crafts. It's why the president fly in a plane. But then we have hovercrafts and submarines and trolley bandwagons.

But right wing always tells the truth, right, RIGHT?

Which is Left or right?

Depending on where you live, left becomes right and right becomes left.

USA is in asia on the world map.
