basically, vtubers don't have real jobs and don't contribute to society.

They just play games, break stuff and their simps fund their life for them.

I truly hope hololive turns into an idol (actual, and leaves streaming) so there's less people to fawn over these "people"

Problem is, individual vtubers that aren't in holo like filian.

She even brought her real mom and everyone is sexualizing them together. They're into incest ig.

Sex, breaking stuff, being lewd and when people give them thousands of dollars they just say "thanks"

streaming shouldn't be a full time job but a hobby. It should be illegal to not actually have a job.

Do pro sports players "contribute" to society? What about musicians, TV and movie actors and actresses, etc.

Also define "job." Your worldview seems to be very limiting. What if I started a business of some sorts. Would that be considered a job? Whew.. i'm glad I don't live in your world.

i think its like a modern day puppet show. it just happens to take the guise of anime type drawn stuff, and the people enamoured by it find it pretty entertaining.

if they can create 2000$+ per day doing it, well, you can't argue with that. that's more than most oil execs during the black gold rush in north america.
