how to find artists online for a commission
looking for rather talented artists to draw me funny cartoony characters. I need to find an artist who can especially adapt to a very very specific art style, almost to the letter. Where can I find talented artists since my usual man has been offline for almost two months.

better yet, where is a good place to post my want and have artists come to me?

Do people still use tumblr?

Anyway I would suggest deviantart as well, or either Twitter/X or bluesky as a lot of artists are also there as well.

Yes but they are very very quiet about it because it's a severe echo chamber

Artists open to commissions will usually advertise that fact.

Bad idea.

First, hunt the artist, then negotiate a commission. Deviantart and Fiverr might be decent choices. There's probably even some on Etsy. I'm sure there are plenty on social media, too.

Do some searches for the genre of art you're looking for. Find pics you like, discover who made them, contact them and discuss rates.
