SWTOR if you like star wars and haven't played it before. It's a fun game on the storylines, i can't recommend the Sith Warrior storyline enough role playing light side and being completely disobedient to Darth Baras and if you can put up with the humour, Vette/Cena, as a companion she has a wicked sense of humour, i love it.

Imperial agent is arguably the best storyline in SWTOR though.

I really liked New World when i played it a few years ago, when it first released. Not sure how good it is in 2024, but it reminded me a lot of the early days of WoW, which I loved.

Destiny 2 is good, but costs a lot of money to keep up with.

Elder Scrolls Online is solid too

Too expensive? It a one time payment, there no cash shop or lootboxes. Spent way more on free games and had less fun
