Playing the Sega Genesis original for the first time. I was always a Super Nintendo, Mario kid. How do you play this game? Are you supposed to roll through the whole thing at the speed of light or are you actually supposed to take your time and jump on stuff and explore the level, like in Mario?

I 100% all sonic games and it only took me 3 weeks. No cheats at all because the true video game king like me don't need cheats.

Better to learn the levels rather than just blast through them and risk losing any rings you collect. You want to at least have enough rings (50 if I remember right) to get the giant ring at the end of each level so you can play the bonus stages and try to get all the chaos emeralds (otherwise you get the "bad" ending).
