That ddr7 costs a lot but will Nvidia take a "hit" on their massive profits? My prediction is as close to to 40x prices on release as they can get.
That isnt cheap or anything but if it goes up too much at some point people will snap.
Maybe the 5090 will be bit more than the 4090s release price. 5080 ,5070 closer to the same price as the 40x release. 5060 wont be for a good while.

i got a 4080 founders edition on release.

It is these type of rumours from youtubers and twitch streamers that cause every new GPU generation to become bigger, heavier, thirstier and more expensive since 2017.

We don't need bulkier GPUs with a colossal thirst for power but GPUs with reasonable prices, with reasonable sizes and reasonable performance. I don't care about 8K nor RT.

GTX1080 was the last GPU with reasonable price, reasonable performance, reasonable size, reasonable power consumption.
