Cost of Thanksgiving dinner

Well, the media is beclowning themselves again.

They are reporting that the cost of Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people, only cost $59.

I just want to know what reality they are living in.

A frozen 12 lbs turkey already cost me $22 and that was because of the sale. (had to spend $25 for the turkey deal)

Total cost for my share of Thanksgiving dinner is $100ish.

My family is also bringing other dishes. Which only drives the total cost higer.

You can't even feed one person with the cheapest fast food for $5.90, let alone feed 10 people with good food for 10x that.
