I know people who like it but I wouldn't buy it that way myself.
Linguica all the way with Pepperoni coming in a close second.
apparently it's a cultural thing.
But if you add pineapple its worth it.
Though I did always hear of stories from my parents that settlers brought dandelions to North America so they wouldn't starve. Seems to be a pretty common tale too (at least in rural areas in Canada). So I think many people know that you can eat it, but most don't because it's considered a weed. I've never eaten it for example. Dandelion root tea is the only commercial use I've ever seen in Canada for the plant.
stay vigilant brothers
you deserve to get torturtured by the very concept you thought up.
pinapple on pizza is nice.. but ashovis is foul.. it belongs on NO pizza it belongs to be treated as nuclear waste.. burried and locked away..
Yes, people often agree to do the performance for a tip. Or for service, dunno.
Most don't care and many get annoyed that you're asking them for service in trying to film a pineapple scene. "The food is the service. I Have/Don't Have any Pineapple, Buy and/or Get Out." I think that's more common in Italy though, a little, as it tends to create the space for that attitude in the luxury culture if it can be backed up.
Plenty of people have it though, usually if they do they know some people that go to pineapple countries regularly and can get really cheap pineapple.
well some italians admitted that it makes no sense..
-> pizza is bread.. anything that you can put on bread can be put on pizza
-> sweet on bread excist and so do sweet pizzas
-> when you point that out italians respond.. but theres also ham and tomato on it.. sweet and savory you not mix
-> when you than point out that italians quite commonly mix sweet and savory .. including the well known melon + parmaham... and a lot of other combinations of fruit and meat... they finally reply :
it does not matter if it does not make sense.. we do allow pinaplle on a tosti.. but not on a pizza
we hate it just cause we hate it ok.,..
so basicly somebody in italy started the we hate pinapple on pizza trend.. and while nothing in italian cuisnuine would prevent it from being done.,.,. by now your just argueing agains 100 years of unfounded hatred..
it is italians version of our reaction to somebody who says they game on a mac.. or white socks in dresshoes.. it triggers us.. without there being any rational reason for it..
not everyone agrees though. maybe there were some people that thought everyone should follow rules, maybe a lot of people were like that sometimes. maybe it's just a rule to follow for rule's sake, and doesn't really define pizza. maybe not. it's up to you, as the pizza afficionado you no doubt are or are not
