Conservatives betas are psychologically wired to crave certainty & are alway susceptible to fearmongering, while liberal alphas embrace the diverse and complex world, they welcome uncertainty as a challenge, and have calm steadfast attitude under pressure.

In short - conservative soyjuice betas are programmed to become scared little boys when they don't get what they want.

Their entire worldview is shaped by their own emotional and mental fragility.

I've read this intriguing article from NYU, and now it's become ever so more clear. I feel like I can finally discern all the weak beta arguments these conservatives are making.

The article in question tells us that reprobate conservative beta males clutch their precious pearls at every change (hell they're not called conservatives for nothing). Their platitudinous whining is taking it's toll.

Philosophy doesn't rely on empirical evidence or experimentation the same way science does. It primarily explores concepts that may not be observable or testable. It is theoretical and cannot have absoloute proof.

For the areas of Philospohy you can try to test and gather data around... you're now in sociology and psychology territory and not philosophy.

Again, what's science ? Because science can't have the absolute proof either. The simple way you have to word it show that you don't understand the concept.

I'll give the definition of science, as explained by Albert Einstein himself back then : Science is a method. It consist in creating hypothesis and then trying to invalidate those hypothesis with observations and experimentations. The hypothesis that survive this process are considered closer and closer to reality as time and trials accumulate with no viable rival hypothesis.

That's why I haven't agreed with you previously, because science isn't about searching truth, science is the opposite. It's all about trying to destroy hypothesis with contradictory observations or experimentations. If general relativity is so praised today, it's because this hypothesis survived a lot of trials and until now, no observations or experiments were able to invalidate it.

When I gave you bunch of conspiracy theories based around science that MAGA believe in, suddenly thats not lysenkoism becuase "well technically science can never 100% be truth", but Democrats are still lysenkoists because they have justified their theories instead of trying to invalidate it???

Lysenkoism is the rejection of established science in favor of ideologically driven ideas - which is exactly what conservatives are doing.

They are indeed, for one very good and logical reason : Politicians aren't researchers and if you're not a researcher you're not a scientist. Science is a method and that's about it. Politicians on both sides, activists and journalists can call "science" their opinions all they want, that's still not what science truely is.

And I maintain that democrats in the US are socialists, using good old soviet methods. Not because "science" said it, but because they contantly inspire themselves from the USSR and socialist authors. Btw, using science as an argument of authority is a well-knowed method used in the USSR, along calling your political opponent "fascists" even when they aren't and so on.

All of this is very old, not very original and very predictable. That's why socialists can't win, because peoples like me already know all their tricks, even some future ones they don't use yet. Because all this already happened in the past, in the USSR, in China, in Iran, etc. Same methods, same structures, same ideologies and same consequences, again and again.

Why are they going to listen to someone who they can't even sit down and have a conversation with? The conversations that are being had in this forum feel like a ridiculous distractions from actual problems.

The culture war being waged by both sides as we get continually screwed over as we just get more poor, more socially violatile/isolated because we both can go to our echochambers and reinforce what we want to hear.

I think it'd be better to just even attempted to find common ground at this point. Screaming your wrong at them just makes them not listen to you. There is an issue that seriously wrong with our society, and the way it's going right now. Accelerated by our media outlets. Just hope some clarity comes soon.

Can you please stop bringing definitions like this to these threads, espically once by Albert Einstein. This is a direct appeal to authority logical fallacy and is something socialists USSR autocrats do to brainwash people.

Can you stop calling democrats socialists. Socialism is 1 or 2 steps away from classical fascism and is born from it. By calling Democrats (and hence the voters) fascists you are directly engaging in inflamatory language utilised by stuck in the loop socialists of the past!

I've down a conservative rabbit hole, I got out of it. It feels so real, when your hammer, everything you see is a nail. It took a seed of doubt and time to get out of the mindset. and seeing the actions of peers and how they treated others.

There was good people. Just troubled. I'm an independent now. We have been failed by those who were supposed to represent the people.

What lessons have been learnt in the last 4 years?

That screaming, refusing to reconcile, running losers, refusing to concede, engaging in hostile language and not addressing the facts, being nasty etc etc etc all works to get you elected.
