Why do people troll?

Seriously. I just dont get it. People waste their lifes sitting in front of the computer screen with a goal of making people angry. Majority of the stuff they say or do isnt even remotely funny. Im guessing most of them are just kids? But I wonder how many adults with some serious issues do it.

Majority of trolls cant defend themselves irl so they feel much more comfortable to deflect there problems and pain online. But these days its just out of control. What percentage of steam are trolls? What percentage of youtube comments are trolls. Even trolls are viral now and rack up millions of subs. Meanwhile everyone seems to act like they are bad people but yet they make them famous. Is it just gen z with serious issues?

I just cant actually comprehend the enjoyment of trolling. What do people gain from it?

Its the same reason(or lack thereof) that people bully, just with text and anonymity. Solve one and the other is automatically solved, except some have a specific need to see others suffer.

Mmm idunno bullying is easy. People who bully in real life obviously want to feel inferior and stronger then who they bully. So its an ego boost. But I cant say people troll for an ego boost because nothing tells them they are the winner.

Your correct for reasons above. Trolls love to dream fantasy such as DEI, woke, sjw, and LGBT. Once trolls step outside of the computer and find themselves a very different reality than the one they enjoy online.

They are weak people who cannot defend themselves as you say. They betas, and momma basement losers who feel like a important person online. In reality they looked down upon and ridiculed.

The only defense online is to report them each and every time. In real life we don't have trolls as the society expect people to act like adults.
