Where would one find a "shy" person?

I see a lot of self-professed shy people complain about not being able to meet other people. But how would one go about encountering one of these people in their natural habitats?

I have a few guesses of their most likely locations (aside from home and their jobs):
1. College (Self explanatory, only the younger ones)
2. Game/hobby stores (because they are usually nerdy)
3. Walking their dogs (or themselves)
4. Gym (for some)
5. Library (maybe)
6. Steam Discussions

Any ideas on the best way to capture talk to a shy person to force entice them into friendship?

While such a steam group might work for most, I don't think I'd grow any courage there. If I joined regular groups about macho manly things that might look more attractive. One thing for sure, I don't expect to find love through steam, but if it happens so be it.

thats the point, they r everywhere, but blended in so well u dont even see them

most ppl develop social anxiety after some time, u would have to look for ppl who avoid eye contact and walk away from u. they r ez to spot. but approaching them is not so simple especially if its a she. gl
